UB/Amherst Extension

This extension is arguably the central purpose of the Metro Rail, connecting the suburban campus of the University at Buffalo with the South (Main Street) campus. Currently the NFTA has performed an Alternatives Analysis and is conducting community engagement. This is the highest priority extension by the NFTA. Also see the NFTA's official expansion site.
