In July 2010, Citizens for Regional Transit signed on as a participant in a letter asking Senator Gillibrand to advocate more equitable funding to public transit. The rally capped the 2003-2004 petition drive in which more than 10,000 Western New York residents all agreed: now is the time for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority to connect downtown and the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport with a Metro Rail extension. |
